Welcome to the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group

We are a non-profit organization that provides support and social networking for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. We meet once a month to share information and experiences. Most meetings have a presenter who is an expert in his/her field.

Meetings are the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00AM to 12:00PM

Dance for PD; Breakout Sharing Session


Norah Bernal will lead us through a Dance for PD® class. In Dance for PD® classes, people are empowered to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, stimulating, and creative. Dance for PD® focuses on developing artistry and grace while addressing concerns specific to people with Parkinson's and other neurological disorders, such as balance, flexibility, coordination, gait, social isolation, and depression.
