Welcome to the Connecticut Parkinson's Working Group

We are a non-profit organization that provides support and social networking for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. We meet once a month to share information and experiences. Most meetings have a presenter who is an expert in his/her field.

Meetings are the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00AM to 12:00PM

Annual Meeting; Home Safety Tips; Breakout Sharing Session


We will start with a brief annual meeting to elect the CPWG board members then MIchelle Saunders, a Physical Therapist Assistant with Gaylord Hospital will make a presentation on Falls Prevention. Discussion will include the greatest risk factor for falling, identifying fall risk factors within the home, and fall prevention techniques. A breakout sharing session will follow the presentation.
